Growth

Roman Chamomile reaches an average height of 30 cm’s, can grow in poor soils and is drought hardy once established. In winter the plant goes dormant but recovers quickly in early spring. Young seedlings can tolerate light frosts so seeds can be started as early as mid-winter. Roman Chamomile can be grown along the edges of a garden bed, as a ground cover and also be grown well in pots.

Roman Chamomile prefers cold or temperate climates but can also be grown in tropical regions in a shaded location.
