The Red Cabbage Kalibos, like all cabbages are very nutritious and have many health benefits; they are a good source of folate, calcium, iron and vitamin C, just to name a few. They also have health benefits for the heart, digestion, immunity and as a cancer fighting food!

Growth

Cabbage Kalibos grows up to around 25 cm’s tall,15 cm’s wide in a conical shape and can weigh in at up to 900 grams. It is suitable for any climate if sown at the right time of year and is ready for harvest from seed at around 90 days depending on conditions. Harvest once the heads are firm. Cabbage can be grown in containers / pots.

HOW TO GROW BRASSICA OLERACEA (Cabbage Kalibos)

Growing Temperatures: 10 to 25°C / 50 to 95°F though can handle frosts and hot temperatures for short periods.
